When we notice harmful behavior, mistreatment, and intimidation, it is crucial to also address the biases held against individuals who are targeted by bullies.

While it may seem easy to acknowledge bullying and hold those responsible accountable, many struggle to see past their own prejudices and preconceived ideas about victims of abuse.

Not everyone is capable of providing emotional support, and there is no one solution that fits everyone when it comes to addressing these issues.

This is why relying solely on Human Resources for safety and well-being may not always be effective, as organizations are often more focused on protecting their own interests.

Despite our own flaws, it is never acceptable to excuse bad behavior. As grown-ups, it is crucial to recognize different forms of bullying, as toxic environments go beyond just obvious abusive actions.

Our tolerance levels, the things we choose not to say or do, and our actions as bystanders all contribute to perpetuating toxic cultures.

Even in this era of increased awareness, social media can still be a breeding ground for toxicity if not approached with caution.
